Who I am

I am Maria Losada, a Spanish teacher based in Spain, and I run this website (marialosadaspanish.com). You can contact me at hola@marialosadaspanish.com about anything related to your personal data.

What data I collect and why

  • Contact form: your name, email, level and the message you write. I use them only to reply to you and to arrange a trial lesson.
  • Booking calendar: when you book a lesson through Cal.com, they collect your name, email and the time you choose, and a Google Meet link is created for the lesson.
  • Emails you send me: I keep them to answer you and to manage lessons.

I do not sell your data and I do not use it for advertising.

Legal basis

I process your data because you ask me for information or for a lesson (pre-contractual measures and contract), and, where needed, with your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

Who else handles your data

To run the website I use these services, which may process data on my behalf:

  • Cloudflare: hosting of this website and forwarding of emails sent to my address.
  • Web3Forms: delivers the contact form messages to my email.
  • Cal.com: booking calendar.
  • Google (Gmail, Calendar, Meet and Fonts): email, scheduling, video lessons and the typeface of this site.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, under the safeguards that European data protection law requires.

How long I keep it

I keep your data while we are in contact or you are my student, and afterwards only for the time needed to meet legal obligations. If you only ask for information and do not become a student, I delete your message after a reasonable period.

Your rights

You can ask me to access, correct, delete, limit or move your data, and to object to its use, by writing to hola@marialosadaspanish.com. If you think your rights are not respected, you can complain to the Spanish data protection authority (AEPD, aepd.es).

Cookies

This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. The booking calendar on the Book a lesson page is provided by Cal.com and may use technical cookies that are necessary for it to work. If I add analytics or other cookies in the future, I will ask for your consent first and update this page.

Changes

I may update this page. The date at the top shows the latest version.
